Lincoln Speedway’s Fallen Firefighters Night: “The Guise-Little Memorial” Takes Center Stage with an Epic Pre-Race Party and a Boosted Purse

Abbottstown, PA (May 13, 2024) – Lincoln Speedway will host the National Fallen Firefighters Night “Guise-Little Memorial” on Saturday, May 18. The night will feature the 410 sprint cars in a $6,000 to win and $600 to start 36-lap feature and the 358 sprint cars will be racing for $1,500 to win and $200 to start. The 410 sprint cars will start the night with time trials and utilize the PA Speedweek format.

Additional money has been added to both the 410 and 358 sprint car purse for the 2024 event thanks in part to Livingston Lawn Care, Dynatch Controls, 717 Posse Gang, BAPS Paint and Supplies and Lincoln Speedway. In addition to the increased purse there will also be contingency prizes awarded throughout the night. The 410 Fast Time award sponsor is Dean’s Auto Plaza. The 410 Hard Charger will receive $300 thanks to Jeff & Kendra Bretzman. The 358 Hard Charger award is still growing courtesy of the Friends & Family of Jerome Guise. Both hard chargers will receive Ultra Shield seat belts. GPS is sponsoring a 358 Half-Way Leader award. 10 $100 off DMI vouchers will be distributed throughout the field of 358 sprint car teams in attendance.

In total, 16 right rear tires will be given out with 11 going to 410 teams and 5 to 358 teams. The tire sponsors are Jeff and Kendra Bretzman, Golf Cart Services, Beerhill Gang, Don Ott Racing Engines, Dottie’s Family Market, Keen Built Construction, Livingston Lawn Care, L&M Tire and Wheel, Jeff Barnes Collision Center, Racers Used Parts Warehouse, Thorton Chevrolet, RG Group, Bricker’s French Fries, Village Pizza and Subs, Tri-County BBQ and Lincoln Speedway.

Each heat race winner in both the 410 and 358 sprint divisions will receive a bonus thanks to Shorty’s Funnel Cakes, Hauling Grass Property Maintenance, Hanover Auto, Leaf and Arrow Tattoo, Trone’s Tags, Title and Notary, Homesteads Renovations LLC, Village Pizza and Subs, Whitecomb’s Farm Market and In Memory of Brandon Little Forever in our Hearts.

Make sure to arrive early to the track on Saturday to participate in the Livingston Lawn Care Party. New for 2024, the party will take place in the overflow lot which allows for more space. Also new for this year, Froggy 107.7 will be partying too! Scott Donato will be LIVE on site with the Froggy Prize Wheel and free hot dogs for all in attendance from 1:30-3:30PM. Registration for the cornhole tournament opens at 10AM and the games start at 11AM. The tournament has a cash payout of $1,400 between divisions. At 1PM the following sprint car teams and drivers will be on hand to take photos and sign autographs, from the 410 division: Kyle Rinehardt, Troy Wagaman, Chad Trout, Kody Hartlaub, Cameron Smith, Matt Campbell, Dominic Melair and JJ Loss and from the 358 sprints: Ashley Cappetta, Wyatt Hinkle, Scott Fisher, Ayden Hare, Jayden Wolf, Gregg Foster, Justin Foster, Cole Small and Cody Fletcher. Fans will get the first look at the Posseland Apparel wraps on Trout and Cappetta’s wings at the party.

Food trucks will be at the party and there will also be beverage stands open from 12PM-4PM. The party includes live music as well starting at 12PM with appearances from Aly Reason, No Reply and Clifton Bryan. Friday, The Detours, will perform from 6PM-10PM in the overflow lot to kick off the weekend. There will also be multiple bicycles that will be given away to kids in attendance. The party is free to attend.

Two ladder trucks from Station 33 & 36 will once again proudly display the American Flag for opening ceremonies where Fallen Firefighters will be honored and the helmets of our current heroes will be blessed.

Pit gates on Saturday open at 4:30PM and the grandstand gates open at 5PM. General admission for adults is $25, students from ages 11-17 are $15 and kids 11 and under are free. Pit passes are available for $35.
