Lincoln Speedway Teams Up with Freedom Off-Road for $10,000 to Win Outlaw Tune-up
Abbottstown, PA (July 11, 2020) – Lincoln Speedway announced tonight that they have teamed up with Freedom Off-Road for a $10,000 to win Outlaw Tune-up at the track on Saturday, July 18. With the recent announcement of the rescheduled World of Outlaws Gettysburg Clash presented by Drydene to Thursday, July 23 the Outlaw tune-up will give race teams a chance to practice the Outlaw format before competing with them on the 3/8th mile oval.
The Outlaw format includes time trials, heat races, a dash, non-qualifier races and a feature. Heat races are lined up straight up from time trial results.
In addition to Freedom Off-Road, Just 4 Jacks Home Improvements has put up $250 for quick time and R.A. Smith & Sons will give a tire to the night’s hard charger.
July 18 is Pepsi Night at the track and will also feature the Super Sportsman in a Touring Series event and the midgets.
Pepsi Night will kick off with time trials at 7:30 p.m. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and grandstand gates are set to open at 5:30 p.m. Pricing is $25 for general admission, $10 for students (12-17 with ID) and $35 for a pit pass.
Located in Abbottstown, PA, the 3/8th-mile high-banked clay oval has been a staple in professional auto racing for over 60 years. The Pigeon Hills oval is one of several famed Central Pennsylvania racetracks which represent the toughest, most competitive weekly sprint car racing in the nation.
